How to get Focused

This morning I found myself (once again!) losing focus, feeling a bit overwhelmed & not knowing where to start.  This can easily happen to the best of us!  One way to combat this is to stop thinking soooooo BIG!   We get overwhelmed by the enormity of a task or project.  For instance if you want to write a novel, how over-facing and daunting would it be to attempt to focus on the novel in it’s entirety?    I’m a big picture person, which in many ways is great, yet the hugeness of the projects/ideas can be too much for my brain to cope with.  It doesn’t know where to begin, so instead my mind will do its utmost to distract me from even starting.

Start small.

Stop focusing on the big challenges & start cleaning up the details of your life!

What three things could you do today, this very minute to make you feel better? Often these tasks are the little things that we have been putting off.

    I love your blog, it’s got a REAL ENERGY and dynamic. I have a few things that have been on my mind that I need to do which I will get on with after this – in fact this is one of the things I needed to do and that’s catch up with all the blogs I’m following – so doing one is good!
