The Creative Dream

Right, there is going to no messing around with this blog post. I’ve decided that from now on, maybe short and sweet is best. I’m allowing myself 15 minutes to write this post.
Yesterday I wrote about Creativity, and how having too much freedom can actually inhibit the creative process. I spoke about how we often need a timescales and deadlines to get our creative butts in gear!
It got me thinking, I guess I need to put myself out there. To get down to business with setting myself some deadlines for when I want to accomplish my two big creative dreams. I have been talking about for, what seems like a very long time!
Creative Project Number One ~ WRITE A BOOK
It’s a biggie. I’m sure there are lots of people out there who have, to write a book, as one of there BIG DREAMS. They say that in each and everyone of us, there is a book waiting to be written. Well I think it’s time that I stopped thinking, talking, and dreaming about it…..TALK IS CHEAP…… & got down to the nitty gritty of writing the dam thing.
Creative Project Number Two ~ DELIVER CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
Workshops that inspire, ooze creativity and get people fired up, excited, believing in themselves, and raring to go, ideally life changing! Not a big ask 
To be fair to me, I have already made a start on this dream. I have been delivering workshops through my day-to-day jobs. Now I want to take it that next level…
So TIMESCALES & DEADLINES
The book will be written by June 2013
I have three dates penciled in July/ Sept and October. By January 2013 I will be running workshops on a monthly basis.
Okay, I’ve now put it out there, in black and white, for all to see.
If I can do it, so can you!
What is your creative dreams for the coming year? What would you like to achieve? What dream have you been putting on hold, or have simply given up on? Maybe now’s the time to dust the cobwebs of the dream, give it a good airing and decide that this year is the year that you will give it the time & energy that it and you deserve.
